Ventilation is a kind of control technology, which is used to control the spread and harm of air pollutants and to ensure the safety of underground workers by means of ventilation dilution or ventilation elimination.

Although it contributes nothing directly to the production phase of an operation, but the lack of proper ventilation often will cause lower worker efficiency and decreased productivity, increased accident rates, and absenteeism.

Ventilation system

In Philippines, practice is heavily regulated, especially in coal and gassy (noncoal) mines, and other statutes relate to air quantities required to dilute diesel emissions, blasting fumes, radiation, dusts, battery emissions, and many other contaminants.

Ventilation system is to achieve the function of ventilation, including air inlet, air outlet, air supply duct, fan, cooling and heating, filters, control systems and other ancillary equipment, including a complete set of equipment.
